Herbed Pita Chips
Ingredients: Makes 40
2 garlic cloves, crushed
6 tsp. olive oil
4 pita breads, white or whole wheat
2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
1 TBS. Wildwood Blends All-Purpose Seasoning
Preheat oven to 350°. Stir garlic into the oil. Cut each pita into 5 strips. Snip end of each strip and separate to make 2 single-layer strips.
Place pita strips slit side up in a single layer on baking sheets. Brush with garlic oil. Sprinkle evenly with thyme and Madagascar Spice & Trading's Wildwood Blends All-Purpose Seasoning.
Bake until crisp and golden brown-approx. 15 minutes. Cool and serve!
Chef Leonard's Note:
Can be made 2 days in advance. Store in airtight container. You can also sprinkle with sesame seeds instead of thyme leaves.
