The story of Madagascar Spice & Trading is one of innovation in the culinary world. The owners, Kent Halley and Chef Leonard Gentieu have both strived to create unique solutions for the restaurant chef and home cook. Born of fresh spices and years of refining in the kitchen, the Wildwood Blends gave rise to Madagascar Spice & Trading through testimonials at barbecues and numerous public gatherings where Kent and Leonard brought their blend to serve.

What makes Madagascar Spice & Trading unique is the owner's commitment to a quality product. Most blends on the market use salt to maximize volume and bring flavor to their spices. Both the Wildwood Blends All-Purpose Seasoning and Pork & Poultry Marinade are less than 50% salt for a rich, bold flavor that can be applied liberally without drowning the dish's natural flavors in salt.
